Health economist with graduate training and applied research experience in economic evaluation, cost-of-illness analysis and policy impact assessment. He develops and parameterises decision-analytic (Markov cohort) models, using evidence synthesis to inform model structure, inputs and deterministic and probabilistic uncertainty analyses.
His experience covers systematic reviews, bibliometric analysis and structured evidence synthesis, together with quasi-experimental methods, survey methodology and the analysis of administrative and primary data. He has developed a Markov cohort model and budget impact analysis of dengue vaccination in Bangladesh, and managed primary data collection for household and health-facility surveys at icddr,b. He works in Stata, R and Excel.
